RYA Tuition

We offer training for the RYA Start Yachting, Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper practical qualifications. We also offer 
preparation for the Yachtmaster Coastal and Yachtmaster Offshore examinations.

The Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper courses are usually held over a consecutive 5 day period while the Start Yachting course takes 2 days.  

Preparation for the Yachtmaster exams is flexible, but we recommend a 5 day course in order to cover all the syllabus.

Prices

2 day Start Yachting courses cost £180 low season (Oct - March), £200 high season (April - September)

5 day mid week Competent Crew,  Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper courses cost £400 low season (Oct - March) and £500 high season (April - September)

5 day courses including one weekend cost £500 low season and £600 high season.

5 day over 2 weekends Competent Crew courses cost £600 low season (Oct - March) and £650 high season (April - September)

Coastal Skipper courses are always run over 5 consecutive days.

Yachmaster examination costs are charged in addition to any preparation course.

Discounts are offered for repeat bookings and for members of the Little Ship Club and the Oxted Offshore Sailing Club
